Propolis is quite effective against the replication of HSV-1. To evaluate the effects of propolis on viral replication using the 100TCID50 dilution from the virus stocks, mRNA levels of HEp-2 cells were compared with acyclovir. Comparing the effects of propolis with acyclovir showed that propolis activity is similar to acyclovir. Both acyclovir and propolis began to inhibit HSV-1 replication after 24h of incubation.

HPV infection is one of the most common sexually transmitted infections in the world. More than 50% of sexually active adults contract the infection during their lives. It has long since known that the root of Echinacea Purpurea (E.P.) possesses anti-inflammatory, immunostimulatory, and antiviral activity properties. In vitro studies have shown that E.P. seems to be a valid adjuvant therapy in reducing the relapse incidence of lesions in patients treated for genital condylomatosis.

Echinacea purpurea (E.P.) broadly inhibits coronaviruses and SARS-CoV-2 in vitro. Studies have shown that E.P. preparations could be effective as prophylactic treatment for all CoVs due to their structural similarities.

Echinacea Purpurea 50mg

Booster Echinacea purpurea is the most important species that has more herbal medicinal value and is used in the treatment of various viral diseases. It is a highly famous immunostimulant herb taken for the common cold, flu, SARS, and HPV infection diseases. It is also used in macrophage stimulation and to produce more antigen-specific immunoglobulins. Echinacea in combination with Propolis can be effective in preventing respiratory tract infections.

Dosing and Administration

One tablet once or twice daily with the main meal and a full glass of water.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:

Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Warnings and Precautions

Use with caution in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leucosis, multiple sclerosis, and other autoimmune diseases; severe renal and hepatic impairment; Bleeding disorders.

Drug interactions

Not recommended using this product with immunosuppressive drugs (corticosteroids, cyclosporine, amiodarone, methotrexate, and ketoconazole), CYP3A4 Substrates (diltiazem, estrogen, clarithromycin), CYP1A2 Substrates (olanzapine, ondansetron, theophylline), Midazolam, and Caffeine.

Novoheal is likely safe in recommended amounts; Reversible skin reactions can occur in some people (rare).
